One of the best benefits of our national producer award trip is the collective experience and brain power that is assembled and the ideas that come out of it. Those few days in the beautiful Florida weather talking about our business with the best LTC sales agents in the industry was truly inspiring.
LTCRplus is a great new benefit program we provide but we are still figuring out the best way to tell our new story. Rob Culver shared with me that for one of our top producers, the benefits of LTCRplus really hit home when we discussed the claims process with Donna Woodhall, To paraphrase, "if Joe Lautiero has issues getting claims processed smoothly, then we all need LTCRplus."
How can we refine our story to convey the immense benefits of our services?
Don't go it alone! That is the message to the members and customers we serve. Longevity is what we all want but it creates numerous complex financial and emotional issues.
Fortunately, with LTCRplus you don't have to go it alone. You get a team of professionals to help you and your family with aging. With a phone call you can be connected with the appropriate person on the LTCRplus team to help answer questions such as:
What does the Government pay for? What are the options to pay for care? Is LTC insurance worth it? Are there plans that pay benefits even if I don't need care? If I buy, when is the best time to buy? (LTCR Advisor role)
Or
What facilities are best in my area? Where do I find quality home care? Should my mom be in a facility vs home? Is my mom getting the quality she needs? How do I file a claim? What benefits are in my policy? (LTC Concierge/Amada Senior Care, CareScout, etc)
These questions just scratch the surface of what families may need help with as they age. Eric Holtzman is dealing with a care situation on his aunt and there are so many little things that come up. For example, he recently needed to get a 1099 from Social Security for his Aunt. He needs a power of attorney in the State of New York to get this done. Our LTC Legal benefit make this process easy and less expensive.
The LTC team provided by LTCRplus will be a major focus of our advertising as we think it can be a much simpler story:

We don't need to get into the details of LTC Funding, LTC Navigation, etc. and instead we focus on getting the customer to agree they have a potential need for help with aging. That is key agreement 1 and has not changed. Key agreement 2 is that a team of professionals would beneficial to helping them face these challenges. Key agreement 3 is that we are the only solution in the market that does this and they should put this team in place.
Once these agreements are done, we can do what we have always done and that is focus on the financial risks and putting an insurance solution in place if it makes sense for the client.
